Are By Grace Ambrose pieces handmade?
Yes. Every By Grace Ambrose piece is handmade. Our atelier partners are an extension of the By Grace Ambrose studio, hand-making each collection in strictly limited numbers, so there's no mass production. Bespoke commissions are hand-finished entirely by Grace herself.
Are By Grace Ambrose pieces nickel free?
By Grace Ambrose main collection is finished with nickel free components sourced from certified nickel free suppliers.
Samples Edit pieces use a PVD stainless steel finish — hypoallergenic but not nickel free. Not recommended for nickel sensitivities.
Are By Grace Ambrose pieces suitable for sensitive skin?
We can't make claims about sensitive skin. What we can tell you: BA pieces use minimal metal construction, are made to be featherlight, and are finished with nickel free or PVD stainless steel components — a kinder alternative to traditional metal-heavy jewellery. If you have specific skin concerns, we'd always recommend checking with your dermatologist first.
What makes By Grace Ambrose pieces different?
Each piece is handmade outside conventional jewellery codes, crafting intricate, woven pieces that are culturally rooted, featherlight and limited by design. Not trend-led. Not mass produced. There is nothing else quite like it.
How do I care for my By Grace Ambrose piece?
Remove before applying make-up, perfume or creams and before swimming. Store in the By Grace Ambrose box when not in use. Each piece is handmade — handle with care and it will last the distance.

What materials are used in By Grace Ambrose pieces?
Pieces use minimal metal construction where possible, with handmade textile elements. All metal components are finished with nickel free materials or PVD stainless steel. Specific materials vary by piece. Full details are available on each product page.
Are By Grace Ambrose pieces lightweight?
Yes. Pieces are crafted using minimal metal construction — featherlight in wear without losing presence.
Do By Grace Ambrose pieces come with a warranty?
Every piece is handmade and quality checked before dispatch. If your piece arrives damaged, contact us directly within 48 hours of receipt and we will resolve it.
Processing Time
Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 3–5 working days. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Made-to-order pieces are dispatched once your jewellery has been completed (5-7days).

International Orders
We ship worldwide via Royal Mail and FedEx.
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking details.
Please note that any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping rates.

What is your returns policy?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery — unworn and in original packaging. For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned. Bespoke commissions and personalised colourway requests are non-returnable and non-exchangeable as they are made to individual specification.
How do I return a piece?
Contact us directly to begin the returns process. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Contact us directly within 48 hours of receipt with details and we will resolve it immediately.

Does By Grace Ambrose make bespoke bridal jewellery?
Yes. we accept commissions for weddings, traditional ceremonies, bridesmaid suites and milestone celebrations.

Can I adapt an existing piece rather than create something entirely new?
Yes. Whether that means adapting an existing Owambe frame to a specific colourway or creating something entirely new — the starting point is always you.
How do I secure a bespoke commission slot?
A deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is due on completion, prior to dispatch.
